Volunteer Opportunities
VISITATION/VOLUNTEERING
All visitors please enter the Early Learning Center through the main office. To ensure a safe environment for children and staff, all doors are locked. Upon entering all visitors must report to the office and present a photo ID. The ID will be scanned into the system and print a visitor’s badge. The printed badges will help students and staff recognize visitors.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Box Tops - We are in need of parents who could help with counting and organizing Box Tops. The Box Top program provides over $1,500 per year to support student activities throughout the year. Please contact Mrs. Jacobs if you are interested in helping at [email protected]

Addison Council PTA - We are in need of 1-2 representatives who could attend monthly meetings at Indian Trail Junior High School. Meetings are typically at 9:30 AM and the parent representatives would share information from our school and bring back any information from the district level. This is a great way to meet other parents from around the district! Contact Dr. Alexander if you are interested at [email protected].
Teacher Appreciation Week - The first week in May is Teacher/Staff Appreciation week. Parents design student and family activities throughout the week to honor your teacher, para educator and/or therapist. Please contact Mrs. Vega, health aide, if you are interested in helping at [email protected].
PARENT ADVISORY
The Addison Early Learning Center hosts parent advisory events throughout the year. Events include a parent education component as well as an opportunity to provide feedback on our programming. Parents will have an have the opportunity to meet with other parents, discuss current topics, ask questions, and receive information on what the community and school has to offer.
